3Doodler

Almost everybody loves to draw.  Drawing is an expression of one's self, and brings joy or relaxation to those who need it.  Unfortunately, due to a small restraint called "physics," we can only draw in 2 dimensions using a pen and paper.  The 3Doodler is going to change the way we think about drawing, and I can see some really revolutionary ideas that could surround this genius invention.

The 3Doodler is essentially a "pen," but doesn't house ink.  Instead, it extrudes a heated plastic that rapidly cools into a solidified structure that can stand on it's own.  In other words, you can draw vertically off the page.  It's an idea that I feel could be utilized on a much larger scale with a much more solid material than plastic, and could be used to create the foundations of homes and buildings.

The inventors, Pete & Max, weren't expecting so many backers to the project, and in just 5 days of showing the product, they raised around $1.8 Million dollars.  That's not too bad seeing as they had a goal pledged at $30,000 in order to kick start the project, so needless to say this is going to be big.  It's an idea that almost everybody can get onboard with.
